NATO Wants a War With Russia

daniel

In case you haven’t heard, NATO is contemplating declaring war on Russia. Apparently there are those who think another war would be good for business, and if that means the total havoc of war, who really cares?1

Who gave NATO the power to take the USA and its Northern European allies into war?  According to my copy of the Constitution it still says, “Congress shall have the power to declare war.”  That is a power it may not delegate to the president, nor may it be delegated by treaty to a coalition of allies.  ONLY Congress may declare war on behalf of the USA.

And yet, Secretary of State John Kerry taunts, "Russia needs to understand that our patience is not infinite."

Is it that NATO fears becoming irrelevant, if they don’t have a military action now and then?  Do they need to blow things up in order to justify their existence?

Or is it worse than that?  Is there some Invisible Hand pulling the strings and moving NATO and the entire world toward another World War III?

One of the debates seems to be based upon whether NATO would be able to respond in time, if Russia starts this war they believe is coming, or if NATO should be gearing up to a war-footing “just in case.”  This is saber-rattling at its finest, but that used to be a sport enjoyed by politicians.  Elected politicians.  It is totally inappropriate for military leaders to be threatening, blustering and provoking a potential enemy.

While Putin may be aggressive in protecting the interests of his own nation (as he should be), he has no intention of starting a war with Europe, which would quickly escalate into a war with the USA.  That would be suicide, and Putin is not suicidal.

Putin holds to a worldview that recalls the glory of days of power of the Orthodox Faith, and that for centuries Russia held the position of Protector of that Faith.  So… looking beyond the borders of Russia, he sees it as his duty to help reestablish the Faith within those boundaries it formerly held sway.  (The fact that there are certain military and economic benefits to this role, and to the sphere of its influence, always helps, of course.)

Obama and Kerry, however, seem to be committed to aiding and abetting the spread of (a) globalism, this time through NATO, and (b) Islam through a multi-pronged strategy, and they are frustrated that Russia has upset their little game.  The problem is that they are playing checkers, and Putin is playing chess.  (And, to make it worse, they’re not even very good at checkers!)

If the President establishes that he can take this nation to war, without a congressional declaration of war, then he has usurped the Constitution, and should be impeached.  If Congress had a spine, it would never have gotten this far.  Can Congress get a spinal implant, this late in our demise?  If they do not, then what’s left of this republic is doomed.

Precedent will be cited, going back to Harry Truman, but that just proves the point – the United Nations, and it’s auxiliary organization, NATO, are the instruments designed to subvert our national sovereignty and turn us into the financiers of our own destruction.  It appears to be working pretty well.

As a policy, we need to withdraw from NATO.  If Europe wants to be defended, Europe can pay for it, and Europe can use NATO as the European Armed Forces, if they so choose.  But they must do so without out money, our manpower, our materiel.  This will save billions of dollars, and will even make us some money, if they want to purchase airplanes and tanks.

More importantly, it will save American lives.  Military personnel would no longer be forced into what is nothing less than mercenary service under NATO and/or the United Nations.

Vice President Al Gore once told parents of a son who was posthumously decorated for his actions on a UN military operation, “You can be proud that your son died in service to the United Nations.”  That does not warm the hearts of American patriots.

Can there be a single good reason for American soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen to have to fight, bleed and die for the New World Order?  If there is, then the oath of allegiance needs to be changed, because right now they are raising their right hands and taking an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.  But then they are being ordered into “international expeditionary adventures” where American interests are sometimes impossible to discern.  This is known in the business world as “bait-and-switch”.

SPC4 Michael New was court-martialed in 1996 for refusing to wear a blue beret and deploy under a general from Finland into Macedonia.  As he pointed out at the time, “If they can make me serve in Macedonia, [without constitutional authority], then they can make me serve in Texas or New York.  Geography is no defense to prosecution.  It’s a question of their authority.  And where does their authority come from?  The Constitution?  Or the UN Charter?”

This means that every soldier, airman, sailor or marine deployed under NATO is, de facto, a United Nations mercenary.

How many Americans realize that the UN Charter calls for the establishment of “regional military arrangements” to meet the needs of a given region?  And how many realize that the NATO Charter says,

“ARTICLE 1: The Parties undertake, as set forth in the Charter of the United Nations, to settle any international dispute in which they may be involved by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace and security and justice are not endangered, and to refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force in any manner inconsistent with the purposes of the United Nations.

An excellent article on NATO and it’s original intent and design may be found at http://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2016/07/07/what-is-nato-really.html , where Eric Zuesse argues that the original purpose of NATO was not to oppose Communism, but to oppose and destroy Russia!  Our 400 military currently surrounding Russia should be evidence that Russia is not being paranoid in preparing to defend themselves.

Hillary Clinton, if elected, has every intention of seeing that we go to war with Russia. 2  The Clintons and the Bushes have been of one accord on this subject for decades.

1    https://www.thenation.com/article/is-war-with-russia-possible/ Article by Stephen F. Cohen, Is War With Russia Possible?  “The US is undermining opportunities for cooperation in Syria and Ukraine, while escalating NATO’s military presence near Russia.”

The Constitution Party: New Home of Christian Constitutional Conservatives

I am a former supporter of Ted Cruz for President.Ted Cruz is no longer a candidate for President in this election. I witnessed the antics against his bravery demonstrated at the Republican pipkinNational Convention, and their rules changes which have finalized the long-term process of the Republican Party establishment becoming the mirror image of the corrupt Democrat Party establishment.

As a result, as Ronald Reagan once said about the Democrat Party leaving him, I have taken note that the Republican Party has left me, and I have seen fit to follow another course. I am now a devoted member of the Constitution Party, and I fully support its nominee for President, Darrell Castle.

I now continue hearing a steady drumbeat narrative: “No 3rd Party candidate can possibly win…”
“Voting 3rd Party is a vote for Clinton…”
“You’re wasting your vote.”

I’m curious… Since “the odds of winning” appears to be the basis for how these people decide their votes, perhaps they can answer a few simple questions…

Do our votes only count if they are cast for the candidate who wins?

Which candidates have ‘acceptable’ chances of winning, and which are we allowed vote for?

You say “no third-party candidate can win…” Are we strictly limited to voting for either Clinton or Trump, as non- third party candidates?

Two of the five candidates – Clinton and Trump – are corrupt leftist tyrants. All but Darrell Castle are Leftist Progressives who will subvert our religious liberties under the First Amendment and sacrifice or at least compromise our liberties to keep and bear arms guaranteed under the Second Amendment.

All but Darell Castle will continue funding Planned Parenthood with taxpayer dollars.

All but Darrell Castle will raise taxes & increase the federal minimum wage.

All but Darrell Castle support Government-funded healthcare.

All but Darrell Castle support the perversion of marriage, and the right of men and women to “self-identify” gender to access restrooms designated for the opposite sex.

Given these facts, as well as many others, why would we or should we feel compelled to trust any of these candidates, except for Darrell Castle, with future nominations to the Supreme Court?

At some level, every candidate except for Darrell Castle is pushing a leftist agenda, to varying degrees of evil, which will sacrifice the Rule of Law that guarantees our equality as they erode and destroy our Constitution.

Personally, I was taught from a child that, just because everyone else may be doing something that is wrong doesn’t give me an excuse to do the same. As I remember, it went something like this:

“If everyone else is jumping off a cliff, are you going to do it, too?”

Never was I taught that it is acceptable to support and promote evil merely because it may be popular at the moment.

That childhood lesson is quite appropriate today. At the end of this election, none of us truly knows who will win. But if we end up with either Clinton or Trump as President, I have resolved, they will not get there with the endorsement of my vote.

There is only one candidate I can support in this election, in good conscience. At the same time, there is the neat little side benefit of building the new home for Constitutionist Conservatives.

That’s the reason I’m voting for Darrell Castle. That’s the reason I am #exGOP, and now a member of the Constitution Party.

If you are truly tired of the loss of our rights –
Tired of our government remaining a sanctuary for an elite class of rulers, immune from prosecution and accountability to their duties and responsibilities under the law, then there is a simple solution.

Stop voting for it.

Let’s build a new party together. We have an opportunity to support a candidate for president in good conscience, and at the same time build a party that will defeat the corrupt duopoly that currently enslaves us.

All that is necessary is for patriotic Americans who are truly devoted to the Constitution to step up and defend it. Unlike our Founders, we don’t even need to travel across the seas or take up arms to accomplish this.

Our Constitution is under siege from the gravest threat it has ever faced: A complacent, dispassionate citizenry, willing to be told how to vote.

I am not so very old, yet I remember a time not so long ago when the biggest mistake a person could make was to tell an American that he or she must vote a certain way, or is not allowed to vote a certain way.

Today, we find ourselves faced with four out of five candidates for president who have vowed to subvert our liberties guaranteed under our Constitution. In addition, we’re being told that we are only allowed to vote for one of two candidates making that vow.

Where are you, patriotic Americans?
Where are you, courageous Conservatives?
Where are you, God-fearing Christians?

On Inauguration Day, our new President will take the Oath of Office prescribed by our Constitution. That person will pledge to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.”

Is Hillary Clinton worthy of that pledge?
Is Donald Trump?

If the answer to that question is “no,” then you owe it to yourself, and more importantly, our Constitution, to make the right choice.

Darrell Castle is worthy of that pledge. He also represents a party that maintains a platform dedicated to keeping that pledge.

Choose a President who will defend Liberty.
Choose a President who will remain faithful to the Constitution.
Vote your conscience.

God bless.

Some Practical Advice on Building a Party

This speech was delivered by State Chairman Daniel New at the State Conference in Belton, August 13, 2016.  It is revised here for publication.

Some Practical Advice on Building a Party
By Daniel New, State Chairman

It is essential that we learn to recognize that an election is an event.

  • It’s on the calendar.
  • You can plan for it.
  • You know when it’s going to happen.
  • You can schedule your life around it (or you can ignore it), like any other event.
  • They come, and they go, like the tides.

Freedom is a Process

  • Whether acquiring it, or maintaining it, it’s a lifestyle and a mindset.
  • Freedom is a matter of unshackling the mind first, and then the body.
    • For example, have you ever known anyone who spent 12 years faithfully showing up at an institution to study only what was put before them, then…
    • Spent four more years signing loans in the tens of thousands of dollars, for the privilege of being further brainwashed into the system, then
    • Signed up to be chained to a 40 hour job for another 40 years;
    • Paid 50% of every dollar he earns over a lifetime to the government, at one level or another;
    • …And then was offended when you suggested that he just may not be as free as he thinks he is?
    • “There is none so blind as he who will not see,” and “The most perfect form of slavery is where the people believe they are free.”
  • Restoring this Republic (if it is possible to do so) will not be “an event” – it is a process.  A lifestyle, if you will, of enough people that we eventually reach critical mass.
  • In that process, we simply must change the way politics is done in this country. This means we have to stop doing the things we’ve been doing for the past several decades. Even at the risk of being the only person you know who starts that process of turning the tide.

Inasmuch as it is possible:

  • Get out of debt.  (No man who is deep in debt can make any claim on being a free man.  “The borrower is a slave to the lender.”)  Personal freedom comes first.
  • Withdraw yourself from institutions of bondage.  (This includes removing your children from government schools, removing yourself from churches that think they have to get a license from the government in order to function as a ministry.)
  • Teach your children to THINK and to ACT as if they are FREE, but that their government is NOT – it is bound by the limitations of the contract – which is the Constitution of the States, united!
  • Prepare yourself to run for office next year, or in the alternative, work hard on a team to elect one of your friends.  (Start making lists.  Just like that time you sold Amway.  Remember?  Make lists and make circles.  Only this time, you’re going to follow through and make it happen, right?)

All politics is local.
What happens at the national level draws 98% of the attention of the media, and of the political discussions at work and around the table in your home.

However, your state legislature has more impact upon your daily life than Washington, DC.  The president, in many ways, is less important to your freedom than your county sheriff.

Another fact to consider:  You and I have no impact upon the national election for several reasons.

  1. Much of it is rigged.  It’s a shell game.  The winner is already known.  (Or THOUGHT to be known!)  There is an Invisible Hand which chooses our presidents, and your vote at that level is largely irrelevant;
  2. The most important offices you are going to vote for this year are:  County Sheriff; County Commissioners; State Rep and State Senate.  Can you name your current four holders of those offices? And almost as important is your school board, along with your city council.  (Instead of complaining about the total disaster of government schools, how about we fire the superintendent and hire one who will insist that a graduate can READ his own diploma?  Don’t tell me it cannot be done, until you have tried it.)
  3. If we don’t take back our state legislature, then there is no way that our governor can stand up to federal tyranny.  He needs a backbone.  How can our sheriffs and local police stand up to federal tyranny, unless the legislature covers them with appropriate legislation?  How do you think we can nullify a tyrannical federal law, without the State Legislature?  How can we repeal the 17th Amendment without the State Legislature?  And how can we even think about taking back Washington, if we cannot take back Austin?
  4. Here’s is how you play a zone defense, and take Liberty back:
    • Learn their names.
    • Meet these politicians face to face.  (be polite) (Best place to do this is on the campaign trail.  They are on their best behavior.)
    • Know their district maps.  Know their voting record ahead of time.
    • Unless they are already Champions of State Sovereignty and Resistance to Tyranny, decide who is going to take their place (you, or someone you know).
    • Build a voting bloc of at least 100 votes, which you can swing either way in the next election. (If you don’t have the vision of how to influence and cast a bloc of 100 votes in the next election, legally, and you would like to, please see me privately.  I’m not going to share that information in front of a camera.)
  5. The Constitution Party cannot be strong in this country unless it has strong State parties.  And in Texas, we cannot be strong, unless we have strong county organizations, with men and women who care more about freedom than they do about choosing the lesser of two weevils!
  6. Out of 150 seats in the Texas House of Representatives, how many of them will be uncontested races in November?  Do you know?  96!  You think there is no room for a new party, one willing to rock the boat where the major parties have conceded that territory to their partners across the aisle?  That is collusion!  They’re not serious about winning anything except reelection to their “safe districts”.  It is our job to take away their Safe Places and let these pawns and puppets go back to working for a living!

 We have 3 Choices:

  1. There is the easy road – we can continue doing what we’ve always done (which for most people is nothing), and accept the inevitability that we are going to lose more and more of our freedom, until none is left;
  2. There is the difficult road – we can resist tyranny by taking the process back (not just the event) – legally, by electing Public Servants who will enforce the Constitution;
  3. There is the bloody road – we can wait until civil war is upon us, and blood runs in the streets. No sane person wants this, but we are told that, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

Who are the Losers?

  • They are losers who say that a third-party cannot ever win.  Of course it can.  (Where do you think the Republican Party came from?)
  • They are losers who say that we, as Free Men and Women, cannot throw the rascals out of office.
  • They are losers who give up without a fight.
  • They are losers who refuse to educate themselves and their children, to the issues that surround us.
  • They are losers who think they are free, when they are not.
  • They are losers when they love football and cable TV more than liberty.  If they know who Sean Penn is married to, and who he was married to before that, but they don’t know who their congressman is, they are losers!
  • They are losers when “Bread and Circuses” are more important than rooting out corruption and advances upon our private property and our freedom as articulated in our Founding documents.
  • Because they have lost their will to be free.

If you believe that it is impossible to take this country back, then either you are a loser, or it’s too late – America is lost.  Which is it?

If.  Then.

If America is lost, then what?

To arms?  Or to chains?

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”
Samuel Adams

The Outcome is God’s

“The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD.”
Proverbs 16:33

Years ago there was a story in one of the Dallas papers about a man (in Arizona, I believe)Jim who got in his car and drove off. Shortly thereafter, he looked down in the seat beside him and saw a rattlesnake. Terrified, he crashed through a mailbox, telephone pole and several other things before coming to a stop; then, the snake bit him. I don’t remember all the details, but you get the picture. Had he calmly pulled to the curb and carefully gotten out of the car, it is likely he would not have been bitten, and he would not have totaled his car. The point I wish to make is this, fear can cause us to do things which bring about the very thing we dread.

With each successive election cycle, it seems the level of despair among social conservatives rises, especially among Christians. From my vantage point, fear and desperation have largely replaced reason and thoughtful action. More significantly, it seems to be overruling the faith of many as well.

As a flawed human being myself, I understand the source of such desperation: I once suffered from it, and suppose there will always be times of perceived crises when it arises within me. We are intrinsically wired to perceive threats and respond to them by reflex action; this is a natural (and often first) response.

However, as Christians, we are, by the grace of God, to exercise self-control in all things, including our fears. This is only possible through a “firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence,” as the founders of this country put it in the Declaration of Independence (truly a declaration of dependence).

I was compelled to face my own fears twenty years ago, and realized they were the result of 1) a weak faith based on a poor understanding of the sovereignty of God, and 2) a bad memory of the true nature of our constitutional republic. My experience in the last two decades has been more than sufficient to convince me untold millions of Christians in America suffer from a similar condition. My prayer is that sharing what has brought me peace in regard to the state of our federal union will help others. This is the spirit with which the following is offered.

The verse from Proverbs which heads these thoughts is a good place to begin because it reminds us God is Sovereign. This is not in the least to say what we do is unimportant; rather it is precisely because God is Sovereign our actions are of utmost importance. Failing to understand this tends to predispose us to believing our actions control things. We should be humbled (and relieved!) to realize they don’t, the outcome is in God’s hands!

What I’m about to say will be hard for many to hear, so I ask you to take a deep breath and keep reading, even if you are initially shocked, or angry.

It is entirely possible God may make Hillary Clinton the next President. I’ll admit that’s an awful thought, but frankly, I feel the same way about her much touted opponent in the other major party. My point is this, I don’t know whom God, in His providence, intends to use for His purposes and glory in the next four years; and neither, dear reader, do you. At this juncture, let me remind you of Proverbs 21:1, “The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will.”

Regardless who wins the election; they will be an instrument of God for His ultimate purpose and glory, even though we don’t understand how this will play out. Being aware of this demands us to be diligent about how we exercise our duty as Americans before Him. When our chosen representatives are doing things we don’t like, it is a safe bet our collective conduct, especially in the area of civil government, is not pleasing to God. So, the question becomes, “How should we conduct ourselves in choosing those who represent us?”

It is imperative to remember our system was designed recognizing God is at the top of the Chain of Command, the people are next in line under the rule of law (i.e. His will), and civil government is under the control of the people. I probably don’t need to tell you this constituted order has been de facto reversed in the minds of “we the people” today, by power seeking tyrants and their pawns in public education and the mainstream media, and God has been removed altogether from public debate.

We may reason God prefers candidate because we believe they will do the best job; however, this belief assumes we know God’s will and purpose for the election. Since we do not know what He intends to accomplish in the process, we should seriously consider our options. Absent such knowledge, we could do what most people do, and simply abstain from the process altogether. However, as Americans, we have a God given duty to choose those who represent us; therefore, dropping out is an abdication of a sacred trust of stewardship.

Those who understand the stewardship of citizenship are compelled to take an active role in the governance of this country. Even if there is no one we can support, we have a duty to work to offer candidates who do understand just and lawful government. Realizing this, our options then are determined by our worldview.

A secular worldview ignores the Sovereignty of God because His will does not fit into the equation. Such a worldview compels a person to choose their representatives on the basis of man’s thinking (i.e. who has the most education, the greatest business acumen, the biggest following, the most money, etc.). Based on one’s qualification checklist, and the importance placed on the various factors, secular thinkers make their decision. In my experience, “does he have a chance to win” is by far the most important factor for those operating from a secular worldview. Sadly and tragically, many Christians have adopted this view.

We, as Christians, have clear biblical instruction in the matter of electing representatives; therefore we should be operating from a biblical worldview. Though we don’t know God’s plan and purpose in a given election, we should be aware how He wants us as Christians to fulfill our duty in choosing those who act on our behalf. God’s word to Samuel is instructive:

But the LORD said to Samuel,
“Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him.
For the LORD sees not as man sees:
man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.”
1 Sam. 16:7

Clearly, our very first priority in selecting representatives is to be confident they have a heart for the LORD and His will. Moses’ father-in-law, Jethro, gave him similar counsel for delegating authority when God delivered Israel from bondage in Egypt:

Moreover, look for able men from all the people,
men who fear God, who are trustworthy and hate a bribe….
Exodus 18:21a

This may seem like a short list, but it is comprehensive because the very first requirement encapsulates all of life. Still, Jethro gave Moses a couple of specifics which identify key hallmarks of worthy candidates in every generation (i.e. “men who fear God”). I’ll leave it to you to decide whether any major party candidate fears God. I don’t know their hearts, but based on their words and actions I have a firm conviction on this matter, and it is one you can probably guess.

A recent poll shows that less than 40 percent of eligible voters trust either major party candidate. Americans don’t trust the people they elect, in part, because they are well aware those candidates are driven by lust for money and power. Incredibly, voters will still go to the polls in November and use their precious vote to approve of someone they believe is untrustworthy! The saddest note in this is, Christians who have embraced a secular worldview feel compelled to ignore scripture and support biblically disqualified candidates. History teaches us this is a perilous path!

God didn’t want Israel to have an earthly king, but they wanted one, so He gave them what they wanted; and the giving was not for a blessing to them. We desperately need to ask ourselves what must guide our choice of representatives if we are to enjoy God’s blessing. God’s desire is certainly for us to have representatives who will honor Him and His will, but when we use our vote to demand unrighteous representatives, He may well give them to us (and He has)!

How can we to reverse what has been happening for decades? The answer is simple, demand candidates who meet biblical qualifications! If we will do this, we will at least put ourselves in a position where God may yet choose to bless us with liberty again. Until then, we deserve what we get, or worse.

How many righteous people demanding righteous candidates will it take to turn the tide of evil God has allowed to grip our country? Ask Abraham. God wasn’t looking for a majority in Sodom; He was looking for a righteous minority. He still is. Will you be one of them?

Darrell Castle talks about the Constitution Party, his 2016 Presidential Campaign, and his vision of victory.

THE LIFE OF THE PARTY

Hello this is Darrell Castle with today’s pod cast. Today is Friday July 29, 2016 and on today’s podcast we are going to discuss the Constitution Party and where we go from here.

In many ways the Constitution Party is a mirror of America which was founded by people with a youthful, energetic, attitude. Those were people who left stagnant and oppressive Europe to create a life for themselves in a new world. They wanted to be free to choose their own pursuit of happiness. That freedom allowed them to carve a nation out of a wilderness, a nation based on principles that allowed the most prosperity for the most people in history.

Today, America doesn’t seem so young anymore. We seem older, more fearful, less willing to explore, to risk danger. Even the young are frightened of the future which seems to hold grim economic realities for them. There is an attitude of pessimism rather than optimism and that is very un-American. We as Americans have always been optimistic, especially about our children’s future which we always have expected to be brighter than our own but now a majority of parents say they don’t expect their children to do as well economically as they have done.

What has caused this change of attitude in America?

The comparison of America’s founding with that of the Constitution Party may seem like a stretch but there are many similarities. When Howard Phillips wanted to start a new political party he did it because life in the Republican Party was stagnant and oppressive for him. He recruited the rest of us and we launched the Party with a youthful belief that we would prevail and eventually supplant the Republican Party.

Today, however, many of us in the Constitution Party don’t seem so young anymore. I’m not just talking about those who are no longer young in age, but I also mean those who are no longer young at heart. There are 25 year olds with old attitudes toward life. They seem unexcited about being alive and unexcited about the future and there are plenty of 85 year olds who look at each day as an exciting gift from God.

In terms of the constitution Party then, what is the difference. I submit that the difference is a vision of victory. When we started the Party we all believed that success was possible so we committed our lives to the project. We all worked hard, we gave our money, we raised money, and we recruited new members. Now it seems that we have lost that vision of victory that we originally had. In other words, many of us no longer believe that victory is possible.

Howard used to tell us that “to achieve victory, first you must seek it.” Today I think some of us have lost sight of the belief that victory is something we are seeking. When that happens people just go through the motions of what they are required to do without any real enthusiasm or effort. The audiences that I speak to sometimes remind me of some churches I’ve been in where the members have been in the service of the church so long they just want to sit and let someone else do it.

The irony is that this election cycle presents us with the greatest opportunity in the history of the Constitution Party and perhaps in history period. The Democrats and Republicans have handed us the chance we’ve been waiting on for 24 years. There are so many dis-satisfied people that many people who previously would not give us the time of day are coming our way.

People sense that something is desperately wrong in this country. Perhaps they understand that they may be living in the declining empire era of American history. If you use ancient Rome as an example you should be able to see the pattern. Rome started as a monarchy and evolved into a Republic just as America did. After many years the Roman Republic degenerated to the point where strong Caesars took control and the Republic became an empire. Some might say that has happened in America as well. The Roman Empire flourished for a while and then began to decay due to poor leadership which debased the currency and misused the army. Eventually the decadence and decay led to the fall of Rome and conquest by barbarian tribes.

Sound familiar?

The point is that it doesn’t have to be this way. We can save the Republic if we all work together but it will take all of us.

The growing enthusiasm for this campaign is being fueled by those who previously supported the campaign of Ted Cruz and who still would if he were in the race. I believe they see similar positions in me and in Senator Cruz. Together with some libertarians who once supported Austin Peterson they have energized and fueled this campaign with a youthful energy that I was afraid had been lost.

These people have convinced me that we can actually win and they have shown me the vision of how it can be done. Notice I said we because I can’t do it. I can’t do it, but together we can win. If we don’t win the election we can build a conservative coalition that will be a permanent force in American politics.

Right now ballot access in sufficient states hangs in the balance. I need all those Constitution Party people who have thus far done nothing to help to come out and help us. We need your money and your time. Many say they can’t give anything but everyone can give something and everyone can get a few signatures. Just do what you can to help those of us trying to save the Republic.

Finally folks, we can have a truly 10th Amendment presidency if we all work together. That would be a sweet day of freedom in America whether it comes in this election or the next. Get the vision of victory that many of us have and help us before it’s too late. Don’t squander this opportunity to make this Party a national force.

I offer my deepest gratitude to all those Cruzers, Libertarians and Paulers who are carrying us on your backs. You have been faithful with money, time, and talent. I appreciate you more than words can say.

At least that’s the way I see it,

Until next time folks,

This is Darrell Castle,

Thanks for listening[/showhide]
